What is Law No. 5300?

The Agricultural Products Licensed Storage Law No. 5300 entered into force in 2005 and encourages the storage of agricultural products in licensed warehouses. This law aims to ensure that warehouses comply with quality standards, provide safe storage, and facilitate the trade of products through electronic product receipts (ELÜS). When producers deliver their products to licensed warehouses, they can buy and sell these products on stock exchanges and receive financial support through ELÜS.
